Dairy Breakfast is from 7:00-11:00 on Saturday. The Northwood Bluegrass Festival is on the grounds Friday and Saturday. Camping is available on the grounds. Rusk County Historical Society will be open and will have tours and presentations. Ed’s Shed will be open for tours as well.

The 29th Sauk County Breakfast on the Dairy Farm will be held Saturday June 9, 2018 at the Bender Farm, S4065 State Road 136, Reedsburg WI, (Brian and his family were our hosts for the 23rd breakfast in 2012). Serving breakfast from 7 am to 11 am (rain or shine) of Wisconsin cheese, scrambled eggs with ham, pancakes, applesauce, frozen custard with strawberries or honey fudge, and milk/juice/coffee. Tickets are $6.00 for adults; $3.00 for children 7-12; and free for 6 and under. Entertainment by Jim Pfaff 7:30-9:30 and Monty Berger 9:30-11:30. Educational and historic displays on the grounds; petting zoo. Door prizes will be drawn every 30 minutes.

The Waukesha Library and Park and Rec put together a summer kick-off event at Buchner Park. There are games and crafts and cows!! The Waukesha Dairy farmers bring a cow and calf for everyone to meet. They also will have a cheese tasting table. Ice cream is served at about 11:45.
Come and enjoy a few hours to pet farm animals, play games, get your face painted, and have Ice Cream! This event hosted by the Racine County Dairy Promotions, KanDo 4-H, and Rochester Public Library. Don't forget to sign up for the summer reading program!

This is the 30th year that Grant County has had a Dairy Breakfast! The 2018 Grant County Dairy Breakfast is Sunday, June 10th. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 AM-11:30 AM at Banner Ridge Farms, LLC. The address is 7573 Banner Road, Platteville, WI 53818. Parking will be on the corner of Banner and Richter Roads. On the menu is pancakes, ham, honey, applesauce, Wisconsin cheese, ice cream, coffee and milk. There will be lots of door prizes!

The Lincoln County June Dairy Month Breakfast will be held on Sunday June 10th at the MARC in Merrill from 8:00am to 12:00 noon. It is sponsored by the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, the Lincoln County Farm Bureau and the Lincoln County Dairy Promotion Committee. The menu includes All You Can Eat Dad's Belgian Waffles with toppings and with locally produced maple syrup. Cheesy scrambled eggs, pork sausage links, real Wisconsin cheese curds, chocolate and white milk, cranberry and orange juice and coffee. Entertainment includes live music by Dave Fox and Foxfire, Grampa's Farm Petting Zoo, horse and wagon rides, children's activity area, photo booth by Vick's Pix and a bus tour of a local dairy farm.

Farm facts (as of August 2017): The four-generation farm was established in 1987. It’s owned and operated by Richard and Dale Spoerlein and families. The farm is run by family and part-time help. They milk 370 Holstein cows two times a day in a new "double 16" milking parlor. They produce 24,000 pounds of milk a day, which is shipped to a dairy. To celebrate our 35th breakfast and raise awareness to the current agriculture economy this breakfast will be a "Farmer Cost Share Breakfast". What is a Farmer Cost Share Breakfast? A cost share breakfast is where you (the consumer) pay what the farmer’s share of the profit is for the commodities they produce. On average farmers only receive 16 percent of the food dollar spent in grocery stores and restaurants. For example, traditionally our breakfast costs you the consumer $6.00/person but this year that same breakfast will be available for $.96. Food: Pancakes, Potato Pancakes, Sausage, Ham & Eggs, Cranberry Bread, Ice Cream, Wisconsin Cheese, Cranberry Juice, and MILK What you will see: Pleasant Corners 4 - H will also be offering a variety of activities for kids of all ages. Join us for a fun-filled morning at the Tim and Shirley Colbenson Family Farm located near Elmwood, Wisconsin! In addition to tours of their 200-cow dairy and an explanation of cow nutrition, milking, animal care and health, baby calves and conservation and cropping information, guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast and various kids activities. There will also be an antique tractor display for young and old alike. Dad's Belgian waffles, sausage, a large variety of syrups, real whipped cream, deep-fried Ellsworth cheese curds, Culver's of Baldwin custard, milk, coffee and water will satisfy the appetites of our guests. New this year! We will have two serving lines to accommodate twice the number of waffle irons so that guests can enjoy their breakfast with a shorter wait time than in previous years! The Colbenson family moved to Pierce County in 1993 from Rushford, MN and have excelled at increasing the quality and quantity of milk produced while staying true to their family values and goals. They are the proud parents of three sons, Ben (Danielle and Hudson) , Brian (Felicia) and Brandon (Emi) and a daughter, Breanna (Connor). They look forward to incorporating the next generation, including their grandson, Hudson into their farm, Ti-Shi Dairy. The Bloomer Dairy Days Golf Outing is a 4 person scramble with a shotgun start at 9am. $40.00 is the cost per person, which includes golf entry fee and lunch. Numerous prizes and raffles are given away at the end of the meal. All proceeds are used to help support the Bloomer FFA Chapter and a special hole for the Fossum Family. For non-golfers a meal can be purchased for $10.00

The Auburndale FFA Alumni is sponsoring a June Dairy Breakfast on Saturday June 23, 2018 from 7 to 11 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the Auburndale Village Park Shelter House in downtown Auburndale. The breakfast is part of the annual Auburndale Music Fest which features music, Friday night fireworks, antique car show, fun run, craft vendors, softball and volleyball tournaments, bean bag tournament, Sunday parade and other activities at the Park. The Auburndale FFA and area 4H clubs help serve the meal. All breakfast proceeds help fund the FFA in the Auburndale and Wood County area.

The Carlson’s invite you to join them at the 2018 Marinette County Breakfast on the farm. Kevin is a 3rd generation owner of Carlson Farm. He began milking on his grandfather’s farm in 1981 with 13 cows. In 1984 he partnered with his father across the road and together they milked 70 cows. Kevin and Katie took over the farm in 1994, and through the years they added a free stall barn, parlor, machine shed, hay shed, and heifer facility. In the recent years they updated the parlor to a 24 stall carousel (2016) and added an automatic calf feeder (2017). The farm currently houses 340 cows and 320 young stock and is run by Kevin and Katie, his father Ron, his son Alan, and two other part time employees. Additionally, Kevin and Katie’s daughter Kimberly and the families of his two sons (Dan and Alan) help when additional assistance is needed.
